The tropical zodiac divides the ecliptic into twelve 30° arcs measured from the March equinox, so the Sun's entry into Aries is not an observation but the definition of the zero point. Check it against the equinox table: the two instants are the same event described twice. Every other sign boundary is 30° along from there.

This is also why the tropical signs no longer line up with the constellations that share their names. Precession moves the equinox point slowly westward against the stars - about 1° every 72 years - so the two frames have drifted roughly a full sign apart since the scheme was fixed in antiquity.

When a planet stations retrograde shortly after a sign boundary, it crosses back into the sign it just left, then crosses forward again weeks or months later. The direction column marks which is which. Ingresses are recorded per crossing rather than collapsed into one row per sign, because the re-entry is a real event with its own instant.
