About otldr
otldr, read as O! TL;DR, is a brand hub and entry point for a small network of focused vertical websites. Each subdomain handles a single topic deeply, starting with astronomy and astrology reference at astro.otldr.com.
The shared idea across every vertical is the same: structured data, not opinion. We publish dimensions, ratings and facts from primary sources, with the source URL and the date the data was last verified. We do not review, we do not rank, we do not recommend.
This main site (otldr.com) introduces the brand, links to the active verticals, hosts the organisation-level pages that apply across the network, and publishes its own reference section: short, sourced tl;dr pages that summarise a topic and point deeper into the relevant vertical.
otldr is operated independently. Verticals are supported by Google AdSense and similar contextual advertising where applicable. We do not accept payment for inclusion, ranking or feature placement.
How we work
Astronomical figures are computed with established libraries (the VSOP87 and ELP-2000 theories via astronomy-engine, and the Swiss Ephemeris for asteroids) rather than copied from elsewhere, and every page is sourced and dated. The full process is on our methodology page, and the line we hold between fact and interpretation is set out in our editorial standards.
Start with the reference section, browse the glossary or our sources. Questions or corrections are welcome via contact.
